This was my deep dive into Marketing, head first! With the trust of the executive team behind me, I became obsessed with finding new ways to attract more attention to this fast growing company.Starting with a full industry SWOT analysis, I sketched out a marketing plan to position the company as an industry leader.Target audience, branding, positioning, media strategies and tactics, marketing budget, objectives, and KPIs.As the lead generation funnels started performing, budget was allocated towards expanding the team brining on experts of each discipline to maintain and optimize accordingly. The team capacity reached a peak of 6 full time employees which I had the privilege of managing. We tackled problems creatively to increase metrics such as traffic, engagement and conversions through the multiple lead funnels and nurturing programs. The team tackled Marketing beyond the core company with services consisting of Strategy, WordPress Development, UX/UI, SEO, Content, Paid Ads, and more. Here are some happy external clients that we worked with:Kandiid

Programmatic Advertising proved to be a very cutthroat industry to be in. I was on a mission to figure out why these website owners were not interested in adding on additional revenue at no cost to them! Then it fell on dawned on me, all the spam emails, ad copies, and just the general positioning of all the competitors was purely to win clients based on generic phrasing such as "cutting edge" and "increase revenue". This was obviously not working. So I tried a completely different approach and just started chatting with them. I said many sporadic things that came to my mind such as "do you like your chicken fried or baked?" and even messaged like "Yo, waddup" to C-suite contacts. And it worked! This was so far off from the cut and dry messages that quickly gets deleted from inboxes. I truly brought the human element to the conversations. This was a turning point of many months of repetitive outreaching. Conversations started happening, pain points were revealed, and publishers started signing up for our services.

Global Inflight Products
Regional Sales Manager, Feburary 2018 - June 2019
This was I would say, my first job where I really learned how big the world really was through sales of container shipments of disposable goods for these international airline companies. I came in and quickly had to fill the spot in place of two recent employees who left for an advancement in their careers. This consisted of handling all of the major North American airline accounts consisting of Delta, American Airlines, Alaska, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, WestJet, Frontier, Hawaiian, and Quantas.During this time, sustainability was a huge initiative that these companies started enforcing. Starting with Delta eliminating single use plastics on all flights, all the other airlines started following suit quickly. It became my full time mission to find these alternatives and propose to the decision makers over at these airlines.Countless days of sourcing, testing, and negotiation followed with oversees manufactures all around the globe. Finally, after many long months of working directly with one of the biggest straw manufactures in the world, we were able to develop a straw that was up to the sustainability and in-flight specifications of the airlines. We were the only one able to source these straws for them at a competitive price point, so of course, we won the business of multiple airlines, totaling contracts worth multiple millions annually.I also spearheaded multiple other product success such as blankets, bamboo stir sticks, PP cups, double walled cups, slippers, pillow cases, coffee carafes, and many more.

Founder / CEO, Febuary 2018 - June 2020
Having worked in a few fine dining restaurants around the Seattle area, I have a lifelong passion of the food industry and infinite respect for those who choose to master the art of cooking.Microgreens was a small but crucial aspect of elevating the aesthetic and flavor profile of a dish. With more than 50x the amount of nutrients when compared to it's fully grown counter part, it is also a super food. After a few months of testing hydroponic growing methodologies, I was able to perfect the growing operation and started rolling out the produce to several target restaurants around the area. However, Covid hit the restaurant industry hard, and a lot of our clients had trouble staying open, let alone affording high quality produce such as Microgreens. This was when we closed shop and I started pursuing other opportunities. At our peak, we were graciously supported by these restaurants.Ascend Prime

Amazon Fresh
Product Development Associate, January 2018 - Febuary 2018
Working with Amazon on the development of their new food products to roll out to their Amazon Go stores was an amazing experience. Our small R&D team filled up an office with 8 full size industrial fridges, and got to work on making the best salads and wraps to be produced at scale for the patrons of these stores.A balance of creativity and dedication to taste brought forth some delicious recipes that is still being produced today by industrial kitchens.
